Clearing the Air / Our Process
The STEALTH® process is designed to satisfy every stakeholder involved in the concealment process. Our system has proven to be highly successful in getting a STEALTH® concealment project from site selection to on air – as quickly as possible.
Identify
Quality speaks volumes. As you begin to understand the type of concealment you may require from STEALTH®, make certain you have photos, engineering drawings and other supporting documentation needed to build the confidence of the ruling agency. Photo simulations tell only part of the story; photos and drawings from installed sites help make your case for a quality concealment.
Actions
- Perform Situation Analysis
- Gather Site Information
- Initiate RFQ
Define
Let’s nail down the specifics. At this stage, STEALTH’s conceptual drawings give stakeholders a comfort level regarding the scope of this project. Although at this stage we’ll need to start putting stakes in the ground, there is still opportunity to make changes.
Actions
- Review Drawings & Specifications
- Verify Site Conditions
- Refine RFQ
Commit
Sign the order. Resources are now mobilized to make the site a reality. At this stage the project comes to life and all systems are go. The project team is ready to move ahead with confidence.
Actions
- Sign Proposal
- Establish Project Milestones
- Identify & Collect Missing Data
Design
Finalize the drawings. It’s time to move from concept to final engineering and fabrication drawings. We’ll determine the size and scope of the project – defining everything from the strength of the roof or quality of the soil, to color of the paint. Plenty of questions get answered - and all of them impact the finish time.
Actions
- Initiate Engineering
- Confirm Project Specs & Constraints
- Establish Progress at Intervals
Fabricate
Build it. We maintain maximum speed by ensuring no unanswered questions loom. Color and texture approval are important factors at this stage; if we don’t have it by the time work hits our shop, the project could stall.
Actions
- Approve Color/Texture
- Assemble Materials
- Check Product Specs and Ship
Install
Make it operational. To ensure a back-charge, hassle free experience, contractor communication begins well in advance of site work. Our pre-construction call provides the contractor with the details they need to be successful and efficient on site. And we welcome the contractor to visit our manufacturing facility before install, especially in highly complex installation environments.
Actions
- Conduct Pre-construction Call
- Visit Installation Site
(not required) - Hold Post-Installation Call
Maintain
Keep your concealment in top shape. Concealments will last longer with regular scheduled maintenance. Whether it needs to be re-caulked, cleaned or painted, each concealment has its own maintenance requirements. See your project manager for details.
Actions
- Determine Maintenance Requirements
- Specify Materials
- Create Upkeep Schedule
