Basic Installation Description:
- Layout the steel column per the footprint dimensions on the provided drawings and attach to the roof or above-roof support structure. Columns attach to the roof
structure via a (4)-bolt pattern through the base plate.
- Steel angle outrigger assemblies (two assemblies provided per column system) are adjusted to the proper elevations and secured to the column via supplied through-bolts.
- Attach kicker (double angles) to steel column using the kicker column plate. The kicker column plate is attached to the steel column via a (4) square U-bolt connection.
- The kicker base plate is attached to the rooftop by the contractor.
- The
FRP girts are bolted in
place to the outrigger
assemblies to run
continuously along the top
and bottom of the STEALTH®
panels.
